MorningStar Farms - First Attempt

I finally received my coupons and was lucky in that it was on the same day that I was intending to pick up a few things at the grocery store. I went to the closest Food Lion and was rather disappointed in the variety available. I selected the Spicy Black Bean Burger and also the Chik n' Nuggets. So far I just tried the burgers. The flavor was AMAZING and the consistency interesting. I love the spicy flavor and the way the various flavors worked together. I found the texture to be interesting. By biting into the corn kernel, it really pushed home that I was eating something healthy that tasted great. I ended up liking them so much that I had two of them for dinner the other night. Unfortunately, they don't seem to like me as much as I like them. They are burning a path through my digestive track. I'm very comfortable with spicy food and do not have this problem usually. I'm wondering if it is different spices that are used (though I don't think so) or if it was a side effect of the meat alternative used, since it is not something my body is use to. I cannot wait to try the Chik N' Nuggets. Hopefully they are a little milder on my stomach so I can work my was back up to that burger. Good thing I'm a BzzAgent and was able to try this product for free/cheap in exchange for my honest opinion.
