Amazon Delivery Issue

So yet again I have had a problem with Amazon failing to delivery my purchases. One of the items purchased was delivered - sort of. It was a knife I had ordered. I took the package directly from the delivery driver and it was completely sealed. When I opened the package and the box the knife should have been in, the box was completely empty.
I have also had problems with headphones that I ordered. I ordered two pair - one for myself and one for my son. Unfortunately, nothing in the ordering process or notifications alerted me that these would require a signature. It just so happen that I had to go out of town during the 3 days they attempted to deliver the package. Ok, fine, I figured I would just be able to pick it up at an access point close to where I live. No such luck. UPS returned the items to Amazon. However, previous to this, I contacted Amazon and informed them of what had happen. They told me that they would contact UPS and halt the return and have them deliver the packages. This didn't happen and now I'm without the headphones, which have raised in price.
I'm honestly quite frustrated with Amazon at this point. Entirely too many people are having issues with their accounts (I myself was blocked out of my account with no explanation or reason) and without any justification. I'm starting to worry that I may need to find another site to make my purchases from given everything that has been happening with Amazon.
I've also noticed that these problems have only started now that I have moved to another state, which also changed the warehouse where my orders typically come from. Clearly an audit needs to take place on this warehouse, as I'm sure I'm not the only one to experience these ridiculous issues coming out of this warehouse.
